¡Hola desde Vermont!

This is your leaders, Brett and Lucia, and we’ve had a beautiful weekend here in Putney preparing for our trip in Ecuador this summer! We’ve planned some incredible activities (ziplining, chocolate making, volcano climbing, snorkeling with turtles, and more!) and outlined our focus on improving our Spanish and working with the community of Las Tolas on several significant projects.

Before meeting the group in Atlanta, be sure to read as much as you can about Ecuador and familiarize yourself with our trip itinerary on a map. If you have time, check out the recommended readings on Darwin and the Galapagos. The islands are sure to be a great adventure!

We look forward to meeting you all soon–Brett at the airport, and Lucia upon arrival in Quito! Get your hiking shoes, conversation skills, and Putney spirit ready for what will be an incredible summer together.
